Hörspiel beendet „Doctor Who: Omega“

„A strange telepathic message prompts the Doctor to travel to the ‚Sector of Forgotten Souls‘, a place where, thousands of years ago, Omega’s ship vanished whilst detonating a star. He’s not the only one journeying towards it. ‚Jolly Chronolidays‘ prides itself on giving its tourists an experience of galactic history that is far better than mere time travel. Its motto is ‚We don’t go into history, we prefer to bring history to you‘. When Omega’s ship suddenly materialises in front of their shuttle, and one of their employees goes insane and tries to destroy his hands…suddenly it’s not just a motto anymore. And Omega – and his madness – is closer than they think.“ (Quelle)

Hörspiel abgelauscht „Doctor Who – The Sandman“

„The Clutch is a fleet in constant motion, ships jostling for position, in an endless migration between the stars. For the Galyari, forbidden by an ancient curse from settling on a world ever again, the Clutch is home. But the curse travels with them! The Sandman, a figure of myth and folklore, preys on the young and old alike. He lurks in the shadows and it is death to look upon him. All too soon after the TARDIS arrives, it is evident that the Doctor and the Galyari share a dark history, and Evelyn is shocked to discover that, on the Clutch, it is her friend who is the monster. The Sandman, according to the tales, also goes by the name of the Doctor!“ (Quelle)

Nun? Na?

Hörspiel gelauscht „Doctor Who -The Holy Terror“

„The Sixth Doctor and Frobisher become involved in a power struggle in a mysterious castle culminating in a bloodbath. The Doctor and Frobisher finds themselves involved with a society which strictly adheres to a complex and apparently illogical set of customs. Drawing inspiration from the Shakespearean tragedy as well as exploring unpleasant elements of the father/child relationship and infanticide this is one of the darker episodes. This is the first Doctor Who audio story to feature Frobisher.“ (Quelle)

Hörspiel abgeschlossen „Doctor Who -The Shadow of the Scourge“

„The Pinehill Crest Hotel in Kent is host to three very different events: a cross-stitch convention, an experiment in time travel and… the summoning of the scourge. The Doctor, Bernice and Ace find themselves dealing with a dead body that’s come back to life, a mystical symbol that possesses its host, and a threat from another universe that’s ready for every trick the Doctor’s got up his sleeve. This time, has the Doctor gone too far?“ (Quelle)

Der Doctor is not one to be messed with!

Hörspiel gelauscht „Doctor Who – Whispers of Terror“

Whispers of Terror is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who.“ (Quelle)

“ You have a Museum of Aural Antiquities, a sound creature, speeches holding the narrative together and a blind character disgusing plot twists.“ Gerade in einer Besprechung gelesen und ja, das ergibt Sinn. Perfekt für ein Audio Drama.

Hörspiel beendet „Blake’s 7: The Way Ahead (40th Anniversary Special)“

„In the early days of Blake’s rebellion, the Liberator comes to Malanar Delta to aid resistance leader Avalon, but the crew find Space Commander Travis and his Federation forces waiting. An abandoned Federation research project could give Travis the key to finally bringing Blake to justice. Years later, in the aftermath of the Galactic War, Avon and the Liberator crew fight to survive as new battle lines are drawn and alliances forged by President Servalan. Will survival be enough when a symbol of hope is turned into a devastating engine of war?“ (Quelle)

Also, zum 40. Effekte, Sprecher, Spannungsbogen – alles wunderbar.
