„The Ingress anime was released in Japan in 2018 and is based on the predecessor to Niantic’s Pokémon Go. The augmented-reality game Ingress invites players to find real-life locations to capture in-game portals. The overarching plot behind the game revolves around transdimensional force called Exotic Matter (XM) and two factions with opposing ideas about what to do with it. Um ehrlich zu sein, war ich sehr überrascht angesichts der visuellen Produktionsqualität, die hier aufgefahren wurde. Ich hatte mir das irgendwie wesentlich kostengünstiger-produziert vorgestellt. Angenehm außerdem: Die Geschichte ist nicht künstlich in die Länge gezogen. Zumindest wirkt sie nicht so auf mich.
