Richtig warm wurde ich mit den einzelnen Essays nicht. Irgendwie hatte ich das Gefühl, die Sprache sei so schrecklich konstruiert, damit sie einen Eindruck hinterlassen (was man „starken“ Textpassagen nicht wirklich zum Vorwurf machen kann); hier allerdings hatte ich den Eindruck, dass sich der Autor permanent selbst im Weg steht und zu viel von der Techno-Sprache in sein Wesen fährt. Am besten gefallen mir die Alltagsschilderungen; der „Mensch“ Gibson. Wenn man so will.
